Fur Cleaning Detailed Description
FUR CLEANING PROCESSES
SOFTENERS, of leather, in tumbler or by hand:
- 2-A-1. Manual use, on pelts
or unlined garments. Excellent for blocking; it avoids stiffening and
detanning caused by water. It provides a light tanning effect. Suitable
for thin leathers.
- 2-A-2. Tumbler use, for short
hair pelts or unlined garments only(seal, kidskins, etc.).
- 2-B-1. Manual use.
Specifically for blocking purpose. Very concentrated.
- 2-G. Concentrated softener
for stiff and thick leathers.
SOFTENERS, of fur:
- 2-C-1-EXTRA. In tumbler. It
opens up and smooths the felted wool of the underfur. It lifts the hair
and softens slightly the leather. Suitable for clean or dirty furs; lined
or unlined ones.
- 2-C-2. To glaze the fur in tumbler.
It can be added to "2-C-1-EXTRA".
ANTISTATICS: (See under FIXERS)
GLUES, of the hair:
- 1-C. Special glue to reverse
the hair direction; also to press the fur in alternate directions, with
semipermanent effect(about one year).
DEODORANTS:
- 3-1. Tumbler use, for
unlined stale or odorous garments.
- 3-2. Tumbler use. Deodorant
and moth-killing product for lined or unlined garments.
- 3-3. Tumbler use. Pine tree
scent deodorizer and moth killer, for lined or unlined garments.
- 3-3-A. Tumbler use. Refreshing
deodorizer and moth-killer for general use or lined fur garments.
FIXERS, glazers, antistatics of fur, to be used by
hand or by rotating-ironing machine:
- 2-2. Glazer, fixer, and
antistatic for ironing machine use. Excellent at temperatures over 180-C.
and specific for dark and medium colour tone shorn furs. If used on light
toned furs it might turn them a little yellow.
- 2-A. Spray glazer-shiner for
cleaned Persian and other curly haired furs.
- 2-A-EXTRA. Spray
glazer-shiner for cleaned Persian lambs and other curly furs. It will hold
some future tumbler cleaning processes.
- 2-B. Brush or spray glazer,
antistatic, deodorizer for Minks or similar furs.
- 2-C-3. Glazer, fixer and
antistatic for ironing machine use. For general use on all furs at the
required ironing temperatures.
- 9-A-6. Glazer, fixer and
antistatic especially prepared for ironing and finishing stages of shorn
mutton lamb(fur side).
- 34-8. Glazer, fixer and
antistatic for ironing machine use, at temperatures over 180-C. Suitable
for shorn light colour toned furs.
DETERGENTS:
- 1-D-5. In tumbler with
sawdust and solvents. For better result on linings and heavy duty fur
cleaning.
WATERPROOFING, Scotchguard, stainproof products:
- 1-D. Suitable for leather
and/or for fur side.
GLAZERS, for use in tumbler:
- 1-A-2. Transparent, non
siliconic, for new pelts and fur garments only.
- 2-C-2. For glazing purpose
for furs in the tumbler. Very concentrated. Also an antistatic.

DEGREASING PRODUCTS: (See SOLVENTS)
STAIN REMOVERS:
- 35-13.Manual use solvent and
stain remover, suitable for both fur and linings. It also provides a light
reduction on excessively dyed furs.
- 62-A. Rust stain remover.
- 62-B. Grass and vegetable
stain remover.
- 62-C. Ink stain remover.
- 62-D.Blood and protein-type
stain remover.
- 62-E. Paint and varnish
stain remover.
- 62-F. Grease and mineral
oils stain remover.
SOLVENTS, cleaners, degreasers (in tumbler or
manual):
- 1-D-1. Three-in-one solvent
and light glazer. For medium dirty furs. Tumbler use.
- 1-D-2. Three-in-one solvent
and light glazer. For very dirty furs. Tumbler use.
- 1-D-3. Four-in-one solvent.
Tumbler use. It provides a wide range of cleaning power for almost all
kinds of dirt and stains. For both fur and lining.
- 1-D-3. Concentrated
additives only.
- 1-D-4. Non chloride
ecological solvent of a new concept. Suitable for medium dirty furs.
Tumbler use.
- 35-12. General solvent,
degreaser and stain remover. For manual use only.
